The Macallan The Reach is an extraordinary single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1940, during the early days of World War II, and bottled in 2022 after an unprecedented 81 years of maturation. It is the oldest official release in the distillery's history, crafted from a single sherry-matured oak cask.

This whisky embodies both resilience and artistry. Its serene maturation, spanning eight decades, contrasts with the turbulent era in which it was distilled, making it a living testament to The Macallan's tradition and strength of character. The presentation is as extraordinary as the liquid itself: a hand-blown glass decanter held by three bronze hands, sculpted by artist Saskia Robinson. These hands symbolize the contributions of Master Whisky Kirsteen Campbell, former Macallan Chairman Allan Shiach, and distillery workers in 1940.

The decanter is housed in a custom-made cabinet, crafted from the wood of a fallen elm tree planted on the Macallan estate in 1940, the same year the whisky was distilled. This combination of craftsmanship, history, and rarity elevates The Reach from a collector's item to a true cultural artifact.

Warranty:
We guarantee the quality of all our pre-owned watches and items. If any issues arise, we always strive to resolve the situation promptly and to the best of our ability. Our customer satisfaction and trust are of paramount importance. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, wear and tear, or unauthorized repairs.

Authenticity:
Every Zaphira product is guaranteed authentic and retains its original parts. Each item is thoroughly inspected and sold only if authentic, unless otherwise specified in writing.

Inspection and Testing:
We operate exclusively online; it is not possible to visit or pick up watches in person. Therefore, we strongly recommend requesting additional information, photographs, and videos before purchasing.

Watches:
All our pre-owned watches have undergone thorough, non-invasive mechanical testing and, where necessary, have been serviced to ensure they meet our highest standards of timekeeping and functionality.
Unless otherwise specified, our pre-owned watches are covered by a full or limited 12-month warranty. This excludes any damage incurred due to misuse or accidents. Due to their age, some used watches should not be subjected to the same conditions as when they were new.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping and Taxes:
Shipping fees are 48€ on most of items (except for the heavy artworks) and processed in 2-3 business day for UE Customers.
For extra-UE shipping charges vary depending on the destination and size of the order. Ask to our Shipping service for a fast quote.

Tax will be calculated based on the total value of merchandise, applied as governed by state sales tax regulations based on the ship to state, and will be displayed once your shipping address is entered.

Returns:
You have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days from the day you receive the item. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us by email at within the 14-day window. We will provide return instructions.

Returned items must be in the same condition as received, unworn/unused, with original packaging and documentation. The return shipment must be securely packed and insured. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund within 14 days by bank transfer. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
